In September 2012, a new international Masters programme on European Spatial Planning, Environmental Policies and Regional Development will be launched: PLANET Europe.
PLANET Europe is an innovative two-year (120 ECs) Masters programme that is jointly offered by Radboud University Nijmegen (NL), Cardiff University (UK) and Blekinge Institute of Technology (SE). The programme was set up in recognition of the increasing internationalization of the field of spatial and environmental planning and the growing significance of EU policies, legislation and discourses on spatial development in the member states and regions.
With the support of the Erasmus Mundus programme of the European Union, PLANET Europe scholarships are available for talented students from within and outside the EU. The deadline for application is 1 December, for study to begin in September a year later. The Erasmus Mundus scholarships cover travel, participation and subsistence costs.
All interested students are encouraged to apply for this new and exciting programme. For more information about Planet Europe and the Erasmus Mundus scholarships see www.planet-europe.eu.
